Inspired by the ever-popular and iconic ‘Barcelona’ chair made by Mies Van der Rohe, this set of mismatched yet cohesive & complementary set of chairs was designed by Milo Baughmann for Howell, which was a division of Burd, another well known company that was a mid-century era staple.
And just like the classic Barcelona chairs, each of the chairs in this set sit atop sweeping X-shaped chrome bases, as well as being sans chair arms. The neutral color palettes of each chair allow them to aesthetically juxtapose one another, while still retaining cohesion between them.
