Made in England around 1930, the ‘Rose Chintz’ pattern made by Johnson Brothers China proved to be one of the company’s most popular and successful patterns of all time. These 6-1/4” square shaped cereal bowls feature an ever-so-subtle fluted edge and, of course, the vintage ‘Old Chelsea’ style floral themed pattern. These bowls are actually made of ironstone and are painstakingly hand engraved & colored. These cereal bowls were the first of two incarnations of this product line by the company, and the only one that was genuinely crafted in England.
